How to use the main navigation and search in Jostle

Learn your way around the Main Nav Panel of the Jostle platform and familiarize yourself with its different views in this quick video tutorial.

Main Nav Panel

In the left-side column of the platform is the Main Navigation and it's your guide to getting around. Everywhere you need to go can be accessed from here.

Main views

The sections of the platform—some can be renamed by your organization

Custom views

Added by your organization and ideal for frequently-used tools or services

Additional menus

Name/Avatar: The first option in this section is an access point for your Profile and the three-dot icon is where you can access your Preferences or Log out.

Help: The second option in this section is the access point for the Help view where you can access the Support Center, find contacts for assistance, and see the System Status.

Admin Settings (System Admins only): The last option in this section is the access point for System Admins to control access, configure the platform, track your platform's statistics, and more. The three dot icon is where you can access the most frequently-used features.

Note: Across the platform, clicking on the three-dot icon will open an Action Menu.

Search

You can also search for pretty much anything in your platform, from people to files to teams. Just click on Search at the top of the Main Nav Panel to navigate to the Search function.
